| Tom Winn is Senior Chief of Operations and Intelligence for ASI Group. In addition to overseeing two of the company’s largest divisions, Tom possesses a wealth of experience in corporate security affairs. He originally joined ASI in 2002 as the Manager of Intelligence and later became a key player within the Operations Division. Since joining ASI, Tom has been responsible for creating, improving and expanding many of ASI Group’s key initiatives. Most recently, Tom partnered with Flight Safety International to create the "Think Security" educational curriculum. Prior to joining ASI, Tom worked as a security manager for Destec Energy Inc., a subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company. While with Destec, Tom was responsible for security at the corporate headquarters as well as executive travel security, business continuity planning and corporate emergency preparedness. He left Destec in 1996 to establish a criminal justice program at Spring Branch ISD. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is currently an executive member of the advisory committee for the University of Houston’s Master of Security Management for Executives program. |
