Daniel Johnson is the Senior Chief of Special Projects and Consulting. Daniel and his group are dedicated to providing comprehensive support to ASI customers throughout the world.

In 2006 Daniel served as the in-country project manager in Europe for the closure of a major petrochemical company. Daniel oversaw all aspects of security, including executive protection, access control and crisis planning and execution.

Additionally, he has conducted specialty security projects in the Continental United States as well as throughout Latin America. These projects have included security assessments for corporate and private clients, crisis management planning and emergency response.

Daniel served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was assigned to the U.S. Department of State in embassies in the former Soviet Union, Iceland, Bolivia, Guatemala and Honduras. In this capacity he was responsible for all aspects of security, including the protection of diplomatic staff, control of classified material, physical security of buildings and emergency response planning/execution.

After serving in the Marine Corps, Daniel worked as a private investigator with Paladin International where he was a licensed private investigator as well as a licensed security consultant, serving a wide range of clients in the legal, corporate and financial arenas.

Additionally, Daniel spent 14 years in the insurance industry where he worked in the Special Investigations Unit. In this role, Daniel was responsible for the detection and investigation of complex medical fraud as well as organized crime affecting the insurance industry. Additionally, Daniel was tasked with completing internal investigations relating to employee fraud and misconduct.
