Position: Watch Officer
Department/Division: ASI Group / Intelligence Division
Grade Level: Entry LevelFLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Chief of Intelligence
General Summary:
The Watch Officer – Intelligence Analyst is the primary support function in the ASI Intelligence Operations Center and may be the primary back-up to Regional Analysts. The Watch Officer – Intelligence Analyst position will be scheduled to work night shifts, weekend shifts, and holidays, as necessary, to accomplish 24 hour – 7 day staffing levels of the intelligence operation.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor global news events via internet searches and any and all other means available and ensures appropriate appraisal of news events is provided to ASI management.
- Serves as the primary customer/client interface during nighttime and weekend coverage.
- Write “Hot Spots” and “World Watch” events and provide analytical coverage for a reduced global region in all related product lines.
- Assist the Intelligence Department with research and data search for the production of “FlightBriefs”, “TravelBriefs”, and Security Briefs, as well as other reports and security products.
- Support operational services requirements including telephone reception, call center support, additional communications coverage, services tasking, and follow-up
- Maintain focus on client and client’s needs; Interface with ASI Department Managers and peers on issues reflecting a client’s safety and security.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent military or related work experience, with an international focus.
- Strong knowledge of global affairs.
- Experience using Personal Computer. Advanced MS Office skills required, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capacity to work effectively and efficiently is stressful situations.
- Ability to Multi-task is essential.
- Foreign language skills and international travel is preferred, but not required.
- Articulates with excellent interpersonal, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills (verbal and written)

Position: Intelligence Analyst (South America)
Department/Division: ASI Group / Intelligence Division
Grade Level: Entry LevelFLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Chief of Intelligence
General Summary
The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the production of Intelligence Reports and other products for an assigned region. This position is accountable for researching raw data, critical analysis of that data so as to generate an assessment.
Essential Job Functions: (must be completed with or without accommodations)
- Produce intelligence reports and other related products for an assigned “world” region, including but not limited to World Watch On-line; FliteBriefs; Global Monitoring; ASI Group Essential Briefings; Special Reports; and, Hot Spots
- Provide consistent and constant follow-up of global incidents and events within their assigned region;
- Assure proper protocols are followed, especially, regarding designated alert protocols;
- Uses appropriate judgment in upward communications regarding departmental and /or employee concerns
- Provides continual evaluation of processes and procedures and suggestions for improving methods, efficiencies, and services;
- Responsible for the delegation of tasks/projects to assigned staff members and monitors successful and timely completion of these tasks/projects; and,
- Assist the Senior Intelligence Analyst with daily operation of Intelligence services to include the timely completion of assigned tasks and quality of work performed
Other Responsibilities

Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited College or University in related field (work experience may be substituted for educational requirement);
- 0-3 years responsible experience in a similar role;
- Experience using a personal computer; proficient with various software, to include, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (spreadsheet software) and database software;
- Ability to demonstrate excellent research and analytical skills;
- Ability to communicate in Spanish (conversational/reading/writing), preferred;

Working Conditions
- Normal office conditions;
- Extended work hours (nights/weekends) may be required due to scheduling issues and/or significant regional/global security situations; and,
- Occasional travel (domestic/international) for client meetings, conferences, etc. may be required.
